The UK Supreme Court judgement on the case of Susan Smith was handed down on 19th June 2013. One of the issues of the case was a violation of a soldier’s Right to Life on the battle field. The Iraq Inquiry was chaired by Sir John Chilcot, and inquired into the Government’s role in the Iraq War in great detail. The Inquiry was announced in 2009 by the Prime Minister and published in 2016.
