The Junior Doctor Science School is a project developed by the Japan Science and Technology Agency, and is highly aimed at training outstanding human resources who will lead future science and technology innovation. The main purpose of the Junior Doctor Science School is to discover elementary and junior high school students with outstanding motivation and abilities in science and technology area, and to develop and implement a systematic training plan to encourage their abilities through learning in the fields of science and mathematics and information. Tsuyama College has been adopted for this project and has been working on it since 2018. The main components of the systematic training program in Junior Doctor Science School of Tsuyama College are (i) Human resource training goal setting, (ii) Implementation system, (iii) Student recruitment and primary selection, (iv) First Stage program, (V) Evaluation and feedback, (ⅵ) Secondary selection, (ⅶ) Second stage program, (ⅷ) Student mentor, (ⅸ) Regional cooperation, (ⅹ) External evaluation. In this report, we describe the specific contents of these. |
