| 内容記述 | The purpose of this article is to make an introduction of a research which deals with the right to life in armed conflict. The right to life is included in International Human Rights Treaties which include International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms etc. Until now the law which has been valid in armed conflicts is International Humanitarian Law .Now International Human Rights Law begins to be introduced into armed conflicts. In the U.K. the right to life which is written in Human Rights Act 1998 is used in the courts by relatives of the dead Iraqis and the dead British soldiers. This article is going to present a bird's-eye view of the relationship between International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law and the problems there. |
